We provide full training and ongoing support from our field service and franchise support teams. Initial training is on-the-job in an existing store and once the new store is ready to operate there is on-site training prior to the actual opening. We assign an area manager from day one of the project to work with franchisees through shop fit and beyond.
It's a given that if you want to succeed you've got to be a hard-worker and this doesn't change if you're going to be a franchisee - the business model and support is there for you but you've got to have the drive and energy to put the necessary work in. We're looking for people that demonstrate all those qualities, along with honesty and integrity, whilst showing a genuine enthusiasm for the Favorite brand and menu.
Our franchise fee is broken into two parts. An option fee is payable on an agreed territory following the preliminary agreement of a franchise.
The remaining fee is payable when a site or shop unit is secured for development. Licences run for an initial term of ten years with options for renewal.
This will depend on the size of the premises and how many seats, if any are included, but will generally be in the region of £120,000 to £180,000.
Yes we have more than one approved firm of architects. They will manage the building side of your project following our brand manual. We also have approved builders who will submit tenders for your store once the project reaches that stage.
Yes. We are known to the major high street banks that specialise in franchising, as well as other leading financial services groups, who can arrange loans subject to status.
In most cases and subject your credit status they would expect you to have at least 30% of the capital cost available as liquid cash and would provide the balance via finance.
Favorite are full members of the British Franchise Association (BFA).
As such we have satisfied the strict accreditation procedure, which covers all aspects of our business and are required to operate within ethical guidelines laid down by the association.
Your license will be issued for your specific location.
This will be in what we call a market area and will not be encroached upon by other fellow licensees.
Royalty / service fees are a standard part of most franchise Agreements and many franchisors charge you on a percentage basis. However, we currently charge a fixed monthly fee which rises in small increments annually as set-out and agreed within your franchise Agreement.
Yes. When you have demonstrated your ability to manage your first store and that you have the necessary resources to establish additional units.
Indeed many of our existing franchisees have more than one store.
Yes. Along with your sales and management abilities, you need to maintain a regular local advertising and promotional programme using material obtained through Favorite.
As a franchisor we invest in marketing and advertising across traditional and digital formats.
Full training is included, with initial training within a real working store and then in your store prior to opening. Training is geared to suit the role of the trainee in his or her own store and you will be supported through all phases of the store opening and ongoing.
