Build the next generation of Favorite locations with us
Favorite Chicken is seeking established organisations, experienced operators and property partners with the capability and ambition to develop multiple locations across the UK.
Established in 1986, Favorite has built decades of experience operating within the UK quick-service restaurant market. We are now entering a new stage of development; combining our established restaurant proposition with more flexible formats, new trading environments and strategic Corporate Franchise partnerships.
Whether you operate a national estate, manage high-footfall venues, own strategically valuable property or already run a portfolio of hospitality brands, we would welcome a serious conversation about what we could build together.
Discuss Your Estate →A new chapter in Favorite’s growth
Favorite has traditionally expanded through a network of independently operated franchised restaurants.
That model has created a significant foundation of operational knowledge, brand recognition, established products and experience supporting restaurant operators.
Our next stage of growth will extend that foundation.
Through a dedicated Corporate Franchise function, we are creating opportunities for capable partners to introduce Favorite across larger estates, multiple territories and high-footfall environments.
It is about creating the right Favorite format for the right location, supported by a scalable commercial and operational relationship.

Chicken is leading the way
New industry research shows that chicken is significantly outperforming the wider UK fast-food market. With customer visits growing, new restaurants opening and consumers increasingly choosing chicken, the category is demonstrating remarkable momentum – and for Favorite Chicken, it is a market we have been proud to be part of for 40 years.
A category aligned with modern customer behaviour
Chicken is well suited to the way customers increasingly purchase quick-service food.
The menu can support a broad range of occasions, from individual meals and portable snacks to family orders, sharing products and delivery bundles.
An established UK brand
Favorite has operated in the UK since 1986.
Our longevity has given us practical experience in menu development, restaurant operations, franchise support, delivery, ecommerce, local-store marketing and changing customer expectations.
A proposition ready to evolve
The next generation of Favorite development will not rely upon one rigid restaurant model.
Our intention is to work with selected partners to identify the store format, menu structure, service model and development programme most suited to their estate and customers.
Partnerships designed for organisations with the ability to scale
We are interested in discussions with organisations that can bring a combination of operational expertise, suitable locations, investment capability and long-term development ambition.
Potential partners include:
We are looking for organisations capable of protecting the brand, maintaining operating standards and working collaboratively towards sustainable multi-site growth.

Bespoke Commercial Structures
Selected opportunities may require a tailored model based on estate size, operating environment, location ownership, investment responsibility and rollout potential.
All structures would be subject to commercial assessment, due diligence, legal documentation and mutual agreement.

Corporate Franchise FAQs
What is a Corporate Franchise partnership?
A Corporate Franchise partnership is designed for an established organisation seeking to develop or operate Favorite across multiple locations, an existing estate or a strategically important environment.
It differs from a traditional owner-operated franchise because the partner will usually have its own management structure, operating infrastructure and multi-site development capability.
Is Favorite only seeking restaurant businesses?
No. We are interested in organisations across retail, travel, forecourts, convenience, leisure, healthcare, education, property and institutional foodservice.
Relevant operational capability would still be required, either internally or through an approved operating structure.
Do we need to open a conventional Favorite restaurant?
Not necessarily.
The most suitable format would depend on the location, customer profile, available space, expected sales channels and operational environment.
Can Favorite operate inside an existing business?
Potentially, yes.
Concession and integrated-location opportunities are central to the Corporate Franchise strategy, subject to operational, commercial and technical assessment.
Is this a multi-site opportunity?
The page is primarily intended for organisations with the capability to develop or facilitate multiple locations.
Strategically important individual locations may still be considered where they provide a valuable route into a new environment or partnership.
Does Favorite offer exclusive territories?
Territory structures would be considered as part of an Area Development or comparable multi-site agreement. Any exclusivity would be subject to agreed development obligations, performance requirements and legal documentation.
What investment is required?
Investment will vary according to the store format, property condition, equipment requirements, operating model and respective responsibilities of the parties.
Indicative information would be provided following initial qualification and a clearer understanding of the opportunity.
What experience should a partner have?
Strong candidates will normally demonstrate experience in multi-site operations, foodservice, retail, hospitality, property development or another relevant operational environment.
They should also have sufficient management capacity, financial resources and governance processes to support the proposed development programme.
What support will Favorite provide?
Support may include business planning, site assessment, restaurant design, operational preparation, training, supply chain, technology, ecommerce, delivery, brand, marketing and launch assistance.
The exact support structure would reflect the agreed partnership model.
Can we use our own supply chain or technology?
Favorite must protect product quality, operational consistency and customer experience.
Any proposed use of partner infrastructure would therefore require a detailed review and formal approval.
How quickly could a location open?
Timescales depend upon property status, planning, utilities, design, construction, equipment, recruitment, training and systems integration.
A realistic development programme would be established after the preferred location and format have been assessed.
Can the menu be adapted?
Favorite would retain a clearly defined core brand and product proposition.
However, format-specific menus may be considered where customer needs, service-time requirements, space or the operating environment justify a more focused offer.
What information will we need to provide?
Initial discussions would usually cover your organisation, current operations, estate, relevant experience, proposed locations, investment capacity and long-term development objectives.
What happens after we submit an enquiry?
A member of the Corporate Franchise team will review the information provided.
Where there appears to be a potential strategic fit, we will arrange an introductory conversation to explore the opportunity in greater detail.
