These terms and conditions apply to the Favorite Birthday Prize Draw. Please read them carefully before entering.
1.1 The promoter of this prize draw is Favorite Fried Chicken Limited of 7 Davy Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, CO15 4XD ("Promoter", "Favorite", "we", "us" or "our").
1.2 Questions about the prize draw may be sent by email to birthdayprizedraw@favorite.co.uk or by post to 7 Davy Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, CO15 4XD.
2.1 The promotion is a free prize draw to celebrate Favorite's anniversary.
2.2 Entry is free. No purchase is necessary. Buying any product, downloading the Favorite app, visiting a store, or signing up to marketing will not increase an entrant's chances of winning.
2.3 The prize draw is open from 00:00 on 1 August 2026 until 23:59 on 31 August 2026, UK time ("Promotion Period").
2.4 Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be valid.
3.1 The prize draw is open to residents of England and Wales aged 18 or over only.
3.2 Entrants must provide accurate entry information and must be able to prove their age, identity, residency and eligibility if requested.
3.3 The following people are not eligible to enter: employees, workers, contractors or officers of the Promoter; employees, workers, contractors or officers of any Favorite store, franchisee or franchise operator; agencies, suppliers or other third parties professionally connected with the prize draw; immediate family members of any of those people; household members of any of those people; and anyone otherwise professionally connected with the administration or promotion of the prize draw.
3.4 The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any entrant who does not meet these eligibility requirements.
4.1 To enter, entrants must complete the official online entry form at https://favorite.co.uk/birthday-draw during the Promotion Period.
4.2 The prize draw may be promoted through the Favorite website, Favorite app, email, in-store materials, social media and paid advertising. However, the official entry route is the online entry form.
4.3 Entrants must provide the information requested on the entry form, which is expected to include first name, surname, email address, preferred local Favorite store, confirmation that they are aged 18 or over and resident in England or Wales, acceptance of these terms and conditions, and optional email marketing consent where the entrant chooses to give it.
4.4 Entrants should not provide false, misleading or incomplete information.
4.5 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted, not received, or not submitted successfully due to technical, network, equipment, website, app, browser, email, server or other failure.
5.1 Entrants may enter a maximum of one time per person per day during the Promotion Period.
5.2 For the purpose of administering the prize draw, the Promoter may use an entrant's name, email address and other reasonable information available to it to identify duplicate, excessive, automated, fraudulent or abusive entries.
5.3 Entries above the permitted limit may be disqualified.
5.4 Maximum one prize per person.
5.5 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or entry where it reasonably believes that the entrant has breached these terms, used multiple identities, names or email addresses to manipulate the prize draw, submitted automated, bulk, bot-generated or scripted entries, used disposable email addresses or other methods intended to avoid entry limits, attempted to tamper with or manipulate the entry process, provided false or misleading information, or otherwise acted unfairly or fraudulently.
6.1 Entry into the prize draw does not require consent to receive marketing.
6.2 Entrants may be given the option to consent separately to receive email marketing from Favorite Fried Chicken Limited and participating Favorite stores.
6.3 Any marketing consent will be optional and will not affect an entrant's chances of winning.
6.4 Entrants who opt in to marketing may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in marketing emails.
7.1 There will be the following prize tiers:
7.2 Prize values are not stated or guaranteed. Prizes are promotional items and no cash alternative is available. The Promoter is not responsible for any difference between the actual, perceived, resale or replacement value of a prize.
7.3 Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.
7.4 No cash alternative is available.
7.5 Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged or resold.
7.6 Any costs or expenses not expressly included in the prize description are the responsibility of the winner, unless otherwise stated.
7.7 Delivery costs, where the Promoter agrees to deliver a prize instead of arranging store collection, will be paid by the Promoter.
8.1 Winners will be selected at random by a computerised random selection process from all valid entries.
8.2 The draw will take place within 7 days of the closing date.
8.3 Before the draw, the Promoter may remove invalid entries, including entries that are incomplete, duplicated, excessive, automated, fraudulent, outside the Promotion Period, or otherwise in breach of these terms.
8.4 Valid entries will be ranked in the order randomly selected.
8.5 Prize allocation will be based on draw order: the first valid selected entry will receive the Grand Prize; the next 5 valid selected entries will receive the 2nd Prizes; the next 30 valid selected entries will receive the 3rd Prizes; and further valid selected entries will be treated as reserve winners in ranked order.
8.6 If the same person is selected more than once, that person will receive only the highest-ranked prize for which they are selected, and the next valid selected entry will be used for any remaining prize.
8.7 The Promoter will keep records of the draw process, including the valid entry pool, draw method, selected winners, reserve winners and prize allocation.
9.1 Winners will be notified by email using the email address provided on entry.
9.2 Winners are responsible for checking their inbox, spam and junk folders.
9.3 To claim a prize, a winner must reply to the winner notification email within 14 days of the date that email is sent, confirming that they wish to accept the prize and providing any information reasonably requested by the Promoter.
9.4 For the avoidance of doubt, a prize will not be treated as claimed unless the winner replies to the winner notification email within the required 14-day period and follows the claim instructions provided by the Promoter.
9.5 Telephone calls, missed calls, voicemails, social media messages, store visits, postal correspondence, or other forms of contact will not count as a valid prize claim unless the Promoter confirms in writing that it has accepted them as such.
9.6 If a winner does not reply to the winner notification email within 14 days, declines the prize, fails verification, cannot accept the prize, or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next valid reserve winner.
9.7 The Promoter is not responsible if a winner does not receive, read or reply to a winner notification email for any reason outside the Promoter's reasonable control.
10.1 Winners may be required to provide reasonable proof of age, identity, residency, address and eligibility before a prize is awarded.
10.2 Reasonable proof may include photo ID and proof of address, such as a recent utility bill, council tax bill, bank statement or other document reasonably accepted by the Promoter.
10.3 Winners may redact financial or other irrelevant information from proof of address documents, provided that the document still verifies the winner's name, address and eligibility.
10.4 If a winner cannot provide reasonable proof when requested, the Promoter may treat that winner as ineligible and award the prize to a reserve winner.
11.1 Prizes will normally be made available for collection from a participating Favorite store agreed with the winner.
11.2 Where collection is not practical, the Promoter may arrange delivery to an eligible address in England or Wales.
11.3 Winners who collect a prize from a store may be required to show photo ID at collection.
11.4 The Promoter may issue a collection reference or other collection instructions. Winners must follow the collection instructions provided.
11.5 Once a winner has responded and completed verification, the winner must arrange collection or delivery within a further 14 days, unless the Promoter agrees otherwise.
11.6 If a winner does not complete collection or delivery arrangements within the required period, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a reserve winner.
11.7 The Promoter is not responsible for any failure by a winner to provide accurate delivery or contact details.
12.1 Prizes will be supplied in good faith as promotional prizes. Any manufacturer's warranty, guarantee or after-sales support that applies to a prize will be passed to the winner where reasonably possible, but the Promoter does not provide any additional warranty beyond any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12.2 Winners should check their prize as soon as reasonably possible after collection or delivery.
12.3 Any obvious damage, missing items or fault present at the time of collection or delivery must be reported to the Promoter by email at birthdayprizedraw@favorite.co.uk within 14 days of the winner receiving the prize.
12.4 The Promoter may ask the winner to provide reasonable evidence of the issue, such as photographs, video, product packaging, serial numbers, proof of collection or delivery, or a description of the fault.
12.5 Where the Promoter reasonably considers that a prize was damaged, incomplete or faulty at the time it was received by the winner, the Promoter may, at its discretion, repair the item, replace the item, provide a reasonable equivalent prize, or make other reasonable arrangements.
12.6 The Promoter will not be responsible for prize damage, loss or faults caused after collection or delivery by misuse, neglect, accidental damage, deliberate damage, normal wear and tear, failure to follow instructions, unauthorised repair, alteration, or any act or omission by the winner or a third party.
12.7 If a prize needs to be returned for inspection, repair or replacement, the Promoter will confirm the return process with the winner. Winners should not return prizes to a store or to the Promoter unless instructed to do so by the Promoter.
13.1 The Promoter may ask winners whether they are willing to participate in publicity, such as photos, quotes, social media posts, website content or local PR.
13.2 Publicity participation is optional. A winner does not have to agree to publicity in order to receive a prize.
13.3 The Promoter may make available information indicating that valid awards took place, such as the surname and county of major prize winners, unless a winner objects.
13.4 A winner who objects to their information being made available should contact the Promoter using the contact details in clause 1.2.
13.5 The Promoter may still be required to provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority or another competent authority if requested.
14.1 Personal data provided for the prize draw will be used to administer the prize draw, verify eligibility, contact winners, fulfil prizes, deal with queries or complaints, maintain an audit record, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
14.2 Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy, available at https://favorite.co.uk/privacy-policy.
14.3 Entrants who separately opt in to email marketing will have their details used for that purpose in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy and applicable law.
14.4 Entry records will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for prize draw administration, audit, complaint handling and legal or regulatory purposes.
14.5 Verification documents will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and fulfil prizes, unless a longer period is required for legal, regulatory, complaint or dispute purposes.
15.1 The prize draw may be promoted on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
15.2 The prize draw is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or any other social media platform.
15.3 Entrants release those platforms from any responsibility in connection with the prize draw.
16.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
16.2 Subject to clause 16.1, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant as a result of entering the prize draw or accepting a prize, except where caused by the Promoter's negligence or breach of legal duty.
16.3 The Promoter is not responsible for technical failures, system errors, network issues, website downtime, app issues, email delivery failures or other events outside its reasonable control that may affect entry, winner notification or prize fulfilment.
17.1 The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel, amend or withdraw the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances outside its reasonable control, or where the prize draw cannot be run fairly or safely as planned.
17.2 The Promoter will not make changes that materially disadvantage entrants without good reason.
18.1 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who breaches these terms, acts fraudulently, acts abusively, tampers with the promotion, provides false information, or otherwise acts in a way that undermines the fairness or integrity of the prize draw.
18.2 The Promoter's decision on eligibility, winner selection, verification, prize allocation and fulfilment is final, except that entrants remain entitled to raise complaints or exercise any legal rights they may have.
19.1 Complaints or questions about the prize draw should be sent to birthdayprizedraw@favorite.co.uk or by post to Favorite Fried Chicken Limited, 7 Davy Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, CO15 4XD.
19.2 The Promoter will review complaints reasonably and may request further information where needed.
20.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
20.2 Entrants and the Promoter submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that entrants may have additional rights depending on where they live.
